Administaff Corporate Interview Process
While the interview process with Administaff can vary by position, the steps below are fairly consistent for each position.
- Candidates apply online for the position(s) for which they are qualified and interested.
- A corporate recruiting specialist will conduct a thorough phone interview of qualified candidates using behavioral interview questions, such as:
- In selling, we tend to hear about successes. Tell me about a time when you didn’t get the account. When did you determine it was time to move on?
- Give me a recent example of a time when your schedule was disrupted by unforeseen circumstances. What did you do?1
- The corporate recruiting specialist will forward qualified candidate information to hiring managers.
- Personality/cognitive and/or skills assessments may be administered to candidates, depending on position.
- The corporate recruiting specialist will coordinate personal interviews between hiring managers and selected candidates. The interview process for all Administaff positions includes multiple steps with at least two levels of management within the appropriate department.
- All candidates interviewing must complete an employment application in full.2
- Once Administaff establishes interest in a candidate, a thorough background check will be run on candidates, including a criminal check, credit check, motor vehicle record check, employment verifications and education verification. The background checking process must be complete before an offer for employment can be made.
- Selected final candidate(s) will be extended offers. Candidates who have interviewed but are not selected to move forward to the offer stage will be notified and encouraged to search the Administaff Careers site to apply online for another position for which they meet the requirements.
1 Please be prepared to give specific examples of your work experience.
2 Please be sure to provide accurate information because discrepancies can later hinder the background checking process and possibly prevent an offer for employment being extended.
