ADMINISTAFF NAMED ONE OF AMERICA'S MOST ADMIRED COMPANIES FOR THIRD CONSECUTIVE YEAR

HOUSTON, TX – February 21, 2001 – Administaff, Inc. (NYSE: ASF), the nation’s leading Professional Employer Organization (PEO), has been named one of America’s most admired companies by Fortune magazine for the third consecutive year. The company ranked among the top four businesses in the Outsourcing Services category. Fortune’s list of America’s most admired companies is published in the Feb. 19, 2001 issue.

To compile the rankings, Fortune used eight criteria, including financial soundness, quality of products and services, long-term investment value, quality of management, employee talent, social responsibility, innovativeness, and use of corporate assets. An independent company that polls top business executives, directors and securities analysts for the industry rankings conducted the survey.
