ADMINISTAFF ANNOUNCES OPENING OF THIRD SAN FRANCISCO
BAY AREA OFFICE
- New East Bay Facility Further Expands Administaffs
Regional Operations
HOUSTON, TX November 14, 2000
Administaff, Inc. (NYSE: ASF), the leading Professional Employer
Organization (PEO), today announced the expansion of its already
strong San Francisco Bay-area presence with the opening of a new
sales office in Walnut Creek, Calif., to serve small and medium-sized
businesses. The office is Administaff's third in the Bay area.
"The greater Bay area has more than 40,000
businesses that fit our target profile," said Jay E. Mincks,
Administaffs executive vice president of sales and marketing.
"We chose to expand our operations in the East Bay area because
we are witnessing an increasing number of established companies
migrating their operations here for real estate and lifestyle-related
reasons. Administaff wanted to capitalize on this trend."
The East Bay office opening continues Administaffs
nationwide expansion plan, which targets a total of 90 sales offices
in 40 strategically selected markets. The company now operates 30
sales offices in 17 major metropolitan markets: Atlanta, Austin,
Baltimore, Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles,
New Jersey, New York City, Orlando, Phoenix, San Antonio, San Francisco,
St. Louis, and Washington, D.C. Together, these 17 markets represent
more than 500,000 businesses and approximately 8.5 million worksite
employees that fit the companys client profile.
Thomas Mangini will serve as district manager
at the Walnut Creek office. The office is located at 2999 Oak Road,
Suite 200, Walnut Creek, 94596; the phone number is (925) 287-4900.
