BANK ONE AND ADMINISTAFF TO PROVIDE CUSTOMIZED ONLINE FINANCIAL CENTER TO ADMINISTAFF’S CLIENTS AND WORKSITE EMPLOYEES

CHICAGO and HOUSTON – April 12, 2000 – Bank One Corporation (NYSE: ONE), one of the nation’s leading providers of financial services, and Administaff, Inc. (NYSE: ASF), a leading Professional Employer Organization (PEO), today announced that Bank One will provide a customized, full-service online financial center to Administaff client companies and worksite employees.

Through the new online banking feature, more than 3,000 Administaff clients and 50,000 worksite employees will be able to open accounts, view transaction records, apply for loans and credit cards, invest, use tools and calculators to aid in financial planning decisions, pay bills, and receive special offerings.

The Bank One Financial Center with Administaff, the first online financial center created by Bank One for a company, is being launched as part of Administaff’s new eCommerce portal. The portal will be accessible to Administaff clients and worksite employees via the company’s web site (www.administaff.com) and through Administaff Assistant, which provides online human resource services to clients and employees.

"This new virtual banking center with Administaff is an important step in our quest to popularize online banking," said Bruce Luecke, president of Interactive Delivery Services for the Bank One Retail Group. "It represents our first agreement to provide online financial services directly through a corporate website, and we believe it will evolve into an important new avenue of expansion for Bank One."

Paul J. Sarvadi, Administaff’s president and chief executive officer, said, "This alliance with Bank One represents a significant addition to our eBusiness initiatives and our best-of-class provider network. In addition to further expanding our financial services offering for the benefit of our clients and worksite employees, we anticipate receiving incremental revenues from this alliance."

Administaff representatives estimate that about 80 percent of the company’s worksite employees live within Bank One’s 14-state market. In many of these states, Bank One is the market leader in financial services and one of the leading providers of loans to small businesses.
