ADMINISTAFF ENTERS ST. LOUIS MARKET WITH 21st OFFICE;
AGGRESSIVE EXPANSION PROGRAM ON PACE TOWARD 90 OFFICES IN 40 MARKETS
HOUSTON, April 20, 1998 Administaff,
Inc., a leading Professional Employer Organization (PEO), today
announced its planned expansion into the St. Louis market, with
its 21st sales office scheduled to open there on Monday, June 1,
1998.
The opening of the St. Louis office is a continuation
of Administaff's planned national expansion program, which calls
for establishing 90 offices in 40 markets. This is the third office
opened in 1998 as part of a goal of opening four new offices each
year.
St. Louis ranked 2nd in the United States in
Entrepreneur magazine's listing of the top places for small business.
This new office expands Administaff's presence to 13 markets, including
Atlanta, Austin, Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Los
Angeles, Orlando, Phoenix, San Antonio, and Washington, DC. Its
St. Louis presence marks Administaff's second Midwestern location,
complementing the company's Chicago district office.
``Our entry into the St. Louis market represents
an opportunity to provide our comprehensive menu of human resource
services to more than 22,000 small- and medium-sized business owners
located in the greater metropolitan area,'' said Paul J. Sarvadi,
Administaff president and chief executive officer.
``As the 17th largest metropolitan area in the
U.S., St. Louis has a booming economy with more than 57,000 new
jobs created since 1995. The city's current economic development
plan projects 100,000 new jobs by the end of the year 2000,'' Sarvadi
said. ``These factors make St. Louis a logical and ideal next move
in our expansion program.''
Administaff's new office officially opens June
1, however, the company already serves three clients and 155 worksite
employees in the area. The new sales office will be located at 700
Corporate Park Drive, Suite 360 in Clayton, Mo. For more information,

Administaff had 1997 revenues of $1.2
billion. As one of the nation's leading PEOs, the company provides
a comprehensive Personnel Management System that encompasses a broad
range of services, including benefits and payroll administration,
medical and workers' compensation insurance programs, personnel
records management, employer liability management, employee recruiting
and selection, performance management, and training and development
services to small- and medium-sized businesses.
