ADMINISTAFF OPENS THIRD DALLAS OFFICE; CONTINUES AGGRESSIVE EXPANSION
  • Demand For Outsourced Administrative Services Increases
  • Company On Pace Toward 90 Offices In 40 Markets

HOUSTON, TX – April 1, 1998 – Continuing its aggressive expansion program, Administaff, Inc. today announced the opening of its third Dallas office, bringing the Company's total number of sales offices to 20.

A leading Professional Employer Organization (PEO), Administaff opened five new offices last year and plans to open at least four new offices every year toward a goal of 90 offices in 40 markets.

Administaff provides its clients with a wide range of human resource services such as payroll and benefits administration, medical and workers' compensation insurance programs, and personnel records management. In the Dallas/Fort Worth metropolitan area, the Company serves over 350 client companies that collectively employ approximately 5,300 worksite employees.

``We are seeing demand for our services grow dramatically as business owners realize how outsourcing the human resource function can increase their focus on growing profits and raising productivity,'' said Paul J. Sarvadi, Administaff President and Chief Executive Officer. ``The spreading receptiveness to our innovative products and services, continues to fuel the rapid growth of our business.''

Sarvadi said the vibrant economic climate in the Dallas/Fort Worth area has also spurred local demand for Administaff's services. The Company opened its first Dallas office in 1993 and its second office less than three years later.

The new Dallas office will be led by Tyler Pierson as District Manager and is located at 222 West Las Colinas Boulevard, Suite 852 in the Las Colinas area of Irving.

Administaff also maintains a fully staffed operations center at this location to keep pace with the rapid growth in the Dallas/Fort Worth metropolitan area and to service a large portion of its national client base. The Las Colinas service center is a processing facility for administrative operations and serves as the Company's disaster recovery facility – a location that is fully capable of supporting the critical telecommunications, security, record retrieval and payroll systems of the entire client and employee base.

Administaff had 1997 revenues of $1.2 billion. As one of the nation's leading PEOs, the Company provides a comprehensive Personnel Management System that encompasses a broad range of services, including benefits and payroll administration, medical and workers' compensation insurance programs, personnel records management, liability management, employee recruiting and selection, performance management, and training and development services to small and medium-sized businesses.
