New Human Resources Information Tool Announced
by Administaff
Administaff, Inc. and IBM recently announced
the expansion of their marketing relationship to include the
launch of HR PowerHouseSM, an online portal that
delivers a wide range of human resources information, tools
and expertise to small business owners and the public.
"HR PowerHouse provides a broad-based sampling of Administaff's
HR expertise, and we are especially pleased to launch the
site with IBM," said Paul J. Sarvadi, Administaff president
and chief executive officer. "In addition to providing
a valuable service that is available to everyone in the workplace,
this new resource further extends the Administaff brand, strengthens
our position as a human resources knowledge leader, and serves
as a new channel for prospects of Administaff's services."
HR PowerHouse is accessible in the Business Links section
of IBM's Small Business Center, located at www.ibm.com/smallbusiness.
"Human resource management is vitally important at every
company," said Jay Nalli, vice president, America's Small
Business, IBM. "HR PowerHouse, on IBM's small business
Web site, provides an informative source of human resources
information."

business owners, administrative personnel and HR practitioners.
- State-by-State Guide - Topics
such as occupational safety and health plans, workers' compensation
programs, minimum wage laws, economy and career information
are covered in this section along with links to state HR
resources.
- In the News - Top HR stories
are provided on a timely and topical basis, including such
areas as benefits, compensation, equal employment opportunity
matters, employee relations, HR litigation, market research,
payroll, recruiting and selection, safety and health, small
business and training.
- FAQs - This "Why can't I?"

HR PowerHouse also provides information
in various subsections, including HR Blunders, Hot Issues,
Common Mistakes, Smart Biz Alerts and Best Practices.
In addition to the IBM Web site, HR PowerHouse is accessible
via Administaff's home page at www.administaff.com.
Administaff also expects that HR PowerHouse will soon become
available through the Web sites of other alliance companies.
HR PowerHouse represents the third component of Administaff's
comprehensive eBusiness strategy. Initiated in 1998, this
strategy was designed to increase the value of the company's
services, as well as establish an online community to foster
relationships among providers, clients, employees and employees'
families. Prior to the launch of HR PowerHouse as the company's
eContent platform, Administaff was already delivering online
services to client companies and worksite employees through
its eService platform, Employee Service CenterSM,
and its eCommerce platform, My MarketPlaceSM. Among
the many alliance companies represented on My MarketPlace,
IBM provides Administaff clients and employees with special
offers and discounts on computer hardware and accessories.
