Administaff's Merits Touted by Forbes
Administaff, Inc. (NYSE: ASF), the nation's
leading Professional Employer Organization (PEO), is included
for the second time on the annual Forbes Platinum 400 list
of the best big companies in America.
Forbes released its annual Platinum 400
list in the magazine's Jan. 8, 2001 issue, naming Administaff
in the Business Services category.
In creating the list, Forbes identified
over 1,300 companies with at least $1 billion in annual sales,
then divided those companies into 23 categories. To make the
Platinum 400, companies must be industry leaders in long-term
and short-term return on capital, as well as sales and earnings
growth.
In addition, the companies must have
"an innate ability to adapt to change, a hunger to innovate
and go against the grain, resiliency in a down industry and
amid doubts on Wall Street, and a relentless will to be miserly
even in boom times," according to Forbes.
"We are proud to be named by Forbes
as one of the best big companies in the United States,"
said Paul J. Sarvadi, Administaff president and chief executive
officer. "This honor signifies the commitment of our
people to deliver high-quality service while balancing growth
and profitability."
