Are Your Critical Human Resource Issues Getting
the Attention They Need?
By Rick Wilson
Todays bank, large or small, has many
of the same responsibilities and liabilities as its corporate clients:
most notably, keeping up with the ever-changing world of human resources.
Often with small to medium-sized banks, critical responsibilities
such as recruitment, payroll, benefit management and training are
in the hands of one or two staff members who typically share these
tasks with other unrelated yet important job roles, such as state
and federal banking regulation compliance.
Administaff provides a solution to this common problem. As a leading
Professional Employer Organization (PEO), Administaff is a full-service,
off-site human resources department for small and medium-sized businesses
throughout the country. The PEO concept is simple: it allocates
the employers human resource responsibilities between the
company and the PEO. Therefore, banking officials, typically compliance
officers, are able to focus on other aspects of the business while
the PEO handles daily administrative hassles like payroll, benefits,
employer liability management, employment taxes, workers compensation
insurance and employment regulatory compliance. Moreover, the professional
handling of these services provides more security and comfort for
the banks board of directors.
Since its founding in 1986, Administaffs
primary goal has been to assist businesses, such as banks, by offering
innovative business solutions that afford executives the opportunity
to focus on their core needs. A Texas-based company, Administaff
is one of less than 20 PEOs out of more than 2,000 nationally to
be accredited by the Institute for the Accreditation of Professional
Employer Organizations (IAPEO) and is also an active member of the
National Association of Professional Employer Organizations (NAPEO).
In addition, Administaff is the only PEO listed on the New York
Stock Exchange.
